I'm anti-carving, most years, when it comes to the Halloween pumpkin. Not for any sense of snobbery, but rather utter laziness. Inevitably, I get an overly-complex design and end up mistaking a light area for a dark one, and booger up the whole process.

So what do I do? I paint the pumpkin. Because it's easier. In what reality, I don't know, but every time I try to undertake this process, I forget how ridiculously complicated the whole ordeal becomes.

Because of the day-long painting extravaganza, I decided I should document the progress. As if it makes the undertaking legitimate. So check out the pics below, and welcome to my Halloween Hell.
