I suck as a blogger.
Yeah, I know writers should be culling thought provoking blog posts from their everyday life, but let's be honest.

My life, it is boring.

Oftentimes, I'm stuck in the rut of waking up, going to work, dragging through a dull work day that gives me just enough hours to interrupt the potential for sitting around on my butt all day, and coming home and trying to get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

Then there's the fascinating part: The part where I obsessively crunch numbers as I try to stretch paychecks to keep that damn roof over my head.

What am I gonna blog about? "Drove to work. Witnessed three near collisions in the three minute trek."

Okay, I could keep whinging, but I won't.

Yes, I said whinging. Thanks to Aussie contamination, I automatically type that -g- about 30% of the time now.

I'll have some stuff coming up that I can actually blog about, so I will try to be a good blogger and, you know, blog.

SCWW conference is next week! So that means lots of discussion as I not only navigate a busy people-filled weekend of literary learnin', despite my Unabomber ways, but also do all this as a VOLUNTEER.

And then I've decided to add to the insanity by prepping myself to dive headfirst into the NaNoWriMo madness.

And finally, only nine days away from the publication of Indulgence: Tales from the Cirque Romani from Lazy Day Publishing! Buy your print copy on Amazon starting October 19th and look for my short story, Laws of Attraction, in the midst of all the awesomeness this paranormal erotic anthology promises.

And then buy Drew in Blue. Because, COME ON, PEOPLE. It's a pretty groovy book. :)

First off. Love the fall background on the site.

Second, you will have loads to blog about from the SCWW. It will be interesting to hear.

I have my calendar marked for Indulgence. Can't wait to hold it in my grubby little hands.

I think you are just insane enough to work your writing magic and do an awesome NaNo project.
