I hope everyone is having a great time for the holidays. Aside from the fact that I would have liked to have just a smidge of snow from Christmas, and coughing, and sneezing, and....well, aside from a suicidal immune system, I can say things are going well. The cat hasn't brought down the tree (yet), so yay! This is the best part of the holidays, though, isn't it? When you can finally breathe, curl up on the couch, and read your accumulated Christmas stories. Which means it's the perfect time to put those gift cards to use on this week's featured author, Jim Cangany! Keep that in mind as you check out our interview below:
Looks like things are a little closer to normal here on the homefront, so I can revert back to the regularly scheduled Friday Featured Author posts. Thanks to J. C. Edwards for taking the time to appear on the blog, and to take the plunge on Friday the 13th, no less! And away we go....
I love hearing about what authors who are in the process of writing think about their craft. No matter what stage of the game we're in, I think anybody who has made the crazy choice to write a book can relate to the ups and downs and the ins and outs of it all. Christine Delmater is experiencing that emotional roller-coaster, too, so I really enjoyed her responses below. I need to take a moment to thank her for her patience. I had a family emergency arise after Thanksgiving, and sending questions to my December Featured authors totally slipped my mind. Christine was due to be featured on December 6th, and was a real champ, answering the questions in an unfairly short amount of time, and agreeing to be a mid-week post. I appreciate you not thunking me in the head for my bungled scheduling, Christine! Now, on to the interview:
