My name is Michael Walsh and I am here to promote my work as a writer.
Give us some details about the work you’re promoting.
I have written ten stories so far. Three of them are non-fiction stories about my life and seven are sci-fi and fantasy stories that I have written. I currently have another fantasy story being published in May through Satalyte Publishing.
What’s next for you?
I have another Sci-fi story started and would like to finish that next.
If you could go back in time and have five minutes to speak with a much younger you, what would you tell yourself?
Wake up and understand what is going on around you.
When and where do you do your best writing?
I do my best writing when I am alone sitting in front of the computer with classical music playing softly in the backround.
Something most people don’t know about you?
I have a deep feeling for family.
Your greatest accomplishment? Your greatest failure?
When our youngest son was diagnosed as a Near-miss SIDS child my wife and I helped to run a support group for parents in that similar situation. While doing that we authored a pamphlet titled, Living with Infant Apnea, that was eventually translated into seven different languages. My greatest failure was spending to much time away from our sons when they were young. I thought, at the time, that it was best for me to work at many hours as I could.
What’s your personal motivational mantra?
In one of my non-fiction stories, Eddie’s Method, I talk about the mantra that has kept me going all of my live. Do it until you cannot get it wrong.
Do you prefer to read in ebook format or traditional print?
I am a little old fashion. I still like to hold a book in my hands.
Favorite book when you were a child?
This will surprise you, The complete Works of William Shakespeare. I still have that copy with me.
